"Thank goodness I found Childrens Place uniform pants and shorts! It's hard to find well-fitting bottoms for a scrawny little boy in the stores, but these will do the job well. The quality seems superior to others (Old Navy chinos lasted about 1 month before blowing out the knees). I'm glad I payed attention to the earlier reviews, though. I bought a 7 for my 8 yr old -- the length is still a little long, but the fit is just right. If he doesn't completely destroy them before then (boys!), they should still fit in the Fall."
